TACT Partners

TACT III mobilizes a wide range of stakeholders and capacities coming from the civil society and contributing to the reduction of trafficking phenomena. It works with NGOs either local or community based ones like the Roma NGOs, Amaro Drom and Romani Baxt, NPF, etc.

Tdh Albania and Arsis in coordination with state authorities and other stakeholders aim at creating a transnational network of actions for the protection of unaccompanied children and at combating trafficking and exploitation. Arsis plans, monitors and monitors TACT activities in Tirana (prevention), Thessalonica and Athens.

Terre des hommes, Arsis and all funding donors collaborate with Amaro Drom for the establishment of a community center in Korca run by Amaro Drom, benefiting to all Roma community and providing with the support of RDA the service of a kindergarten for young children of the community. Terre des hommes, Arsis and RDA and the local government through this agreement provided the financial support of the re-construction of the existing building and to enable the full functioning of the community center with kindergarten services.

The collaboration between Tdh Albania and Legal Clinic for Minors consists in ensuring that the necessary legal services, mainly legal counseling, legal expertise to Tdh organization and representation to third parties (institutions, courts, governmental agencies, BKTF coalition) and psycho-social assistance to children victims of trafficking and exploited children are provided in conformity with the intervention prescribed in TACT Project and the service delivery principles of CILPS.

Terre des Hommes and UNICEF are partners in combating child trafficking in Albania through information and services. Efforts are specifically directed to protect and assist victims and their families and promote good practices related to assisted voluntary return of minors, including social support, education and vocational training.

With the help of Tdh Albania Romani Baxt aims at offering entertaining summer activities to children of ages from 5 to 18 years old, to keep them away from the street and provide them with psycho-social education and information on trafficking and other forms of abuse.

TLAS welcomes activities foreseen under TACT III project and commits to contribute to the implementation of its legal component by providing free legal services, including legal counseling and representation to children at risk or victims of trafficking within the jurisdiction of Tirana Court.

Terre des hommes and FBSH (Femijët e Botës Shqiperi - Children of the World, Albania) work together to promote and protect the rights of children at risk of trafficking, exploitation abuse, violence and neglect through empowering them and their communities. With the assistance of Terre des hommes, Albania FBSH works in empowering the young mothers by developing their parental skills in taking care of their children so in the future they will be able to contribute in organizing a community educational system and share their experience as a good example.
FBSH is also committed to identify and register unvaccinated children, the process is conducted by two social workers who identify these children by paying family visits and vaccinate them in collaboration with healthcare services.

Another partner of Tdh Albania is Albanian Partner in Micro loans and Regional Development Agency, with the objective of providing income generating support to TACT beneficiaries, as one means to improve their economical situation, reduce their independence on charity and donor programs and provide one of the tools that aims at reaching the goal of protection of Albanian children against trafficking, risks of trafficking and any other form of abuse.
Terre des hommes, PSHM and NRDA collaborate together to provide financial support in forms of subsidized loans and technical assistance to the beneficiaries.

Ministry of Education and Sciences and Terre des hommes, Albania have reached an agreement in the framework of "Prevention of Violence in school". With the support of TACT, RDET will conduct activities within the framework of Tdh. Activities include: promotion of ethics behaviors among students; introduce the negative features and consequences of violent behaviors; promotion of tolerance and understanding and respect for human identity. Focal Point persons of Tirana will be engaged in organizing the figurative exhibition.

The collaboration of Terre des hommes, Albania and Save the Children, Albania consists of common procedures, responsibilities, tools and training of the parties involved in the creation of new Child Protection Units. CPUs have been or will be established as permanent structures or sectors in at least 6 municipalities (at least 5 followed up by Tdh and at least 1 by Save the Children). Both Tdh and Save the Children have a mutual obligation to provide each other with all the information necessary for the successful development of CPUs in Albania.

Terre des hommes has also collaborated with many other national and international NGOs, putting a strong emphasis on the child rights. Together with World Vision, OSCE, Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, Municipality of Tirana and many other stakeholders the launched Child Begging campaign, in the framework of BKTF.
